Tefal have identified a potential component failure within the Smartclean Fryer, ref FR400915 and FR400916 which may lead to overheating and risk of damage to the surrounding area. If the name of your product matches the one in the picture, then check the rating plate (situated on the base of the fryer) for the reference, FR400915 or FR400916 and the date code. If the last two digits of the date code are 06 or 07 your product is affected.

14/03/08 - Safety Notice: Electrolux, AEG and Zanussi Dishwashers

The following notice has been published in the national press:

Our quality control programme has identified that a purchased connector component presents a potential risk of fire in some series of Electrolux, AEG-Electrolux and Zanussi-Electrolux dishwashers. No product bought before June 2006 is affected. Models with this potential problem are listed below.

The Model (Mod), PNC and Serial Number (S.N.) of the dishwasher are printed on the rating plate on the right side of the dishwasher door as indicated in the drawing. The location of the rating plate is also shown in the user guide that came with the appliance. If the model number matches one in the table below and falls into the given serial range then the dishwasher is an affected model.

Only the following serial numbers are affected: 62400001 to 72399999 (*except AEG-Electrolux model F50765, serial numbers affected are 62400001 to 62799999 and 64100001 to 7079999 and 71700001 to 72399999)

NETGEAR(r) XE103 Powerline Ethernet Adapter Made for Europe and Other Countries Using 220-240 Volt Power Sources.

The above product is being recalled due to the potential for a semiconductor integrated circuit within the product to malfunction in 220-240 volt environments, causing the product to stop working and potentially overheat

Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact NETGEAR to obtain infomration as to how to return the device and obtain a replacement product.

B&Q AIRFORCE 2000W - CONVECTION HEATER ND20-7AJ - BAR CODE - 05164837 - offered for sale between November 2007 and 19th January 2008

PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY THE PRODUCT PICTURED IS AT RISK. ALL OTHER CONVECTION HEATERS SOLD BY B&Q ARE UNAFFECTED.

Despite rigorous quality control procedures it has been brought to B&Q's attention that in some instances the product could overheat and possibly catch fire.

If you have purchased this product since November 2007

If you have bought the Vivitar Vivicam 5660 digital camera pack in a Morrisons store and the charger included looks like the image, please stop using it. Some of the battery chargers included in the Vivitar Vivicam 5660 digital camera packs may be faulty and potentially cause a short circuit.

PRODUCT RECALL - Russell Hobbs Kettle - Model Number 10789
 

The following notice has been published in the national press by the manufacturers:

We have identified that in isolated cases, the Russell Hobbs Model 10789 Kettle sold between November 2005 and March 2007 carries a risk that the handle may detach from the main body of the kettle, potentially resulting in injury.

To find out if you have an affected kettle, simply look on the underside of the power base, where you will find an oval shaped label which contains a four digit code followed by a letter. The models affected are codes from 0531M to 0612M. If your product has an affected code but contains a green dot at the side of the oval label, this does not need to be returned.

Nicky Clarke Straightener NCS70 - Recall

Safety Recall Notice
Model No. NCS70

Our regular quality control inspection has identified a potential problem with the NCS70 Straightener. The component that retains the power supply cord could fail, causing the power cord to become detached from the unit. This could result in electric shock. Only Date Codes commencing 07 and ending 01 through to 34 are affected (e.g. 07W32). All other codes are not affected. The Model Number (NCS70) and Date Code can be found printed on the foil rating label.

Tesco is taking the precautionary measure of recalling the above product due to a potential electrical fault which may lead to scalding. This recall only affects products that have been on sale since May 2006, and have the model number JKR16. The product name and model number can be found on the rating label located on the base of the kettle
No other is affected by this recall.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
